Thursday after camp Valley Day Camp will be hosting a family barbecue!
We hope you can join us outdoors for fun and entertainment provided by our very own campers! We will have a flag ceremony, sing songs, watch the campers' performances, and even feed your family dinner.
Arrival time for families is from 4:30-4:45 with the event starting promptly at 5:00.
The cost of the event is $5 per person (including your camper) attending. The cost of the BBQ was not included in registration because it is weather dependent. Pay with cash or check at the event. We have tables available but you may want to bring your own picnic blanket or small chairs just in case.
As this is a family event and not part of the camp day campers must have someone (family or friends) attending the event in order to stay for it. If your camper is not going to stay for the event they will need to be picked up at camp at 4:00 as usual. Please let their unit leader know if they will not be attending so they will have your camper ready for pick up. Also, whoever signs them out of camp for the barbecue must be listed on the camper's Permission to Pick Up form.
