Since our Camp rocks we thought it was high time for Valley Day Camp to host their very first “Rock Contest”. Every camper is encouraged to join in. The contest will be held on Wednesday and the trophies will be awarded on Thursday. Yes, you read that correctly, we have fabulous trophies for the winners of each Rock Contest Category. After the contest is completed each camper will have an opportunity to turn their Rock Contestant into their very own Pet Rock.
Rock Contest Details
- Each camper needs to bring their own rock for the contest. They may not pick up a rock from our lovely camp site.
- The rock may not be store bought. Each camper should take pride in finding their own rock.
- The rock will be turned into a pet rock so please do not send a special rock that needs to be returned in mint condition.
- The rock may be washed but it must not be altered in any other way.
- All rocks must come to camp on Wednesday morning.
- Each camper must be able to carry their own rock.
- Categories include (but are not limited to) : most square, flattest, heart shaped, most colorful, smoothest, roughest, most unusual, roundest, and the rock that most resembles the King of Rock and Roll, etc
