First Day - Huge Success!

Wow, what a fabulous day!  We had so many fun things going on that I can't even list them all!  We started our day with a very nice flag ceremony.

 

Throughout the day everybody in camp had an opportunity to participate in our big bubble gum event!

We made our own lunches in our units and then devoured our creations.  Along the way we learned that you can cook pizza, quesadillas, etc. with out any electricity!  We also discovered that we are all excellent cooks!

 

Some of our campers completed a hike all the way around the lake!

Plus we squeezed in a fun moment everywhere we could!  Our camp's slogan is Discover, Enjoy, Belong, did your camper do all three today?  I bet if you ask them they can answer things they did to fit into all three.
