Wonderful Wednesday plus BBQ Details

***If your camper will not be staying for the barbeque you must tell their unit leader this in the morning.  Otherwise, we will not have your camper at parking when you come to pick up.  Pick up time and location will be the same as usual.  If not staying then arrive between 3:45 and 4:00.  We will get you out as quickly as possible.***

***If your PA is not staying for the barbeque you must pick them up between 3:45-4:00.  Please note this is a time change.***

Barbeque Details:
Family Arrival: Come between 4:30-4:45 (if you’re early you will have to go back to Safeway to wait)
Upon Arrival: Follow parking instructions then go to your daughter’s unit
Cost: $5 per person, cash or check, will be collected in the food line

Food: We will be serving hotdogs, chips, fruit, carrots, and cookies.

End Time: Families are welcome to leave at any time but we expect to be waving goodbye to our last guests at 6:30.

 

Bring:

·         picnic blanket or short chairs
·         full water bottle (one for each guest)
·         sunglasses, hat, sunscreen
·         cash or check
·         camp appropriate shoes
·         optional – umbrella, the regular kind most people use for rain (to create a little shade because you will be standing or sitting in the sun most of the time)

 

We had a wonderful day today!  We challenged ourselves to have the courage of a super hero, to support each others goals, and to cheer each other on!

We focused on what makes us super and then we wrote notes to friends to tell them how they are super too.

 In cooking some units made Monkey Bread and some used Pie Irons.

We discovered that when there is more humidity in the air we can make bigger, longer lasting bubbles.
