Magnificent Monday

We had a magnificent day today!  We started out with each unit getting to know each other and then getting to know camp.  In the afternoon every unit was able to go to at least one program station (Peep Science, Science with Dr. D, Fire Science, Health, Nature & Hiking, or Cooking).

We spent the late afternoon at an all-camp activity where we sang songs with the PAs and then Dr. D wowed us all with some really cool science activities!

I'm a little short on photos tonight because I was really busy.  I'll post the a few right now and will add more to this post if  get more in tonight. 

What happened to this 55 gallon steel drum?  

It was in perfect condition when I loaned it to Dr. D today.  

But now...

Ask your camper how it was crushed.  What powerful force did this?

We used the scientific method with marshmallow peeps.  Then we ate them!
