Camp Names:

At Valley Day Camp we follow the longstanding Girl Scout tradition of using camp names for our teens and adults. 

Teenagers in our PAIT and PA programs, as well as our adult volunteers, get to choose a name they would like to be called at camp. Camp names can be fun, meaningful, or just plain silly, ranging from Acorn to Zelda. So don't be surprised if you hear someone you know referred to by a wacky name, it's just another element that adds to the magic of camp!

Our teenagers are true treasures.  At camp they lead songs, games, and activities.  They build relationships and are wonderful role models.  Most of them grew up coming to camp and some have been every year since they were going into first grade.  Some of them were able to get together on Zoom to make this video to share with you.
