Wonderful Wednesday

What a wonderful day!  There are too many great experiences to list!  At Valley Day Camp it is our goal for everyone to "Discover-Enjoy-Belong" every day and today we all did!  I hope your camper is sharing all their details with you.  Here's a peek into what we were up to today...

 

Most of the units went to the cooking station where they learned about the foods and cooking of the Pioneer Trail.  They tasted some of the authentic foods such as hard tack, dried meat, and dried fruit.  Then they each made the very "unauthentic" meal of spaghetti and meatballs in foil packets.  It might not be trail food but it was delicious!

Fishing was soooo much fun!  It is always a fan favorite and this year was no exception!  We practiced casting on the shore and did the fishing from the dock.
