On Thursday, June 24th Valley Day Camp will host our 8th Annual Family Barbeque and Skit Program. We will kick off our event with our flag ceremony, songs, and skits. Then we will serve hamburgers, hot dogs, and all of the trimmings. This is a great opportunity for you to see our camp, cheer on your favorite campers, mingle with other camp families, and get out of cooking dinner too!
Big Change this Year:
In order to make space for 30 additional campers (plus their PAs and Leaders) we are changing the way we park cars for the Barbeque. On Thursday afternoon you will need to park in the Safeway parking lot (as far in the back as possible) and board the Tall Cedars Academy bus to shuttle you into camp. The bus will run from 3:15-4:00 and then again from 5:00-6:15. The camp gate will be locked. All vehicles will need to park at Safeway (even if you are not staying for the barbeque). Thank you in advance for helping us make this transition as smoothly as possible!
Campers are not supervised by our Camp Staff during the Barbeque and Skit Program. Each family is responsible for their own children. If you (or another designated adult) are unable to attend the event, your camper will need to be picked up from camp by 4:00.
The cost is $3 per person (collected on site).
