It is a common misconception that arriving a few minutes late helps the traffic. Unfortunately late arrivals actually cause us to stop traffic in order to clear out the one way portions of the driveway. Please plan to arrive at camp between 9:10-9:20 and 3:50-4:00. We know the lack of space for parking can be frustrating. With so many campers it is going to be tough to squeeze everyone in. Please be patient with us as we do our best to get everyone in and out safely and efficiently. The first day is always the toughest, but trust me it will get better and our system really does work. I can not stress enough the importance of carpooling!
We are very fortunate that the Loutsis family continues to allow us to hold our camp on their property. Please help us to preserve the property and the safety of the children and staff by driving very slowly while at camp. When you arrive at camp our staff will direct you into our drive-thru lanes. Please stay in your car and park as closely as possible to the car in front of you. We highly encourage carpooling (well actually we BEG you to carpool).
You need to know the unit letter of each child in your car. It is very helpful if you use a sign in your car displaying the unit letters of all campers riding with you, they were emailed out last week. See photo above for a great example of unit letter usage as well as excellent carpooling!
See you soon!
