Girl Scouts of Western Washington is not mandated by law to require that its volunteers administer medications to girl members. Taking over-the-counter or prescribed medication is the responsibility of the girl needing the medication and her parents. Girl Scouts of Western Washington strives to be inclusive and to make its programming available to the broadest range of girls possible, and so will allow volunteers to accept the responsibility of administering medications. Please read the information provided below regarding GSWW policy and permissions needed.
- All medication must be in its original, marked container.
- All medication must have a signed Parental Permission Form.
- All medication must have a signed Medical Provider Form.

At Valley Day Camp all medication is given by our camp First Aider, Towanda. If your camper needs to take medication while at camp you will need to give the medication and forms directly to Towanda. When you come through the camper drop-off loop please let an adult know you need to see Towanda and they will send her to you.
