Magical Monday!

Wow, what a day!  We were able to try out all different kinds of weather as well as a variety of activities!

Thank you to all of you who carpooled today!  It is a huge help to get multiple kids together in one car.  Today we had too many cars and could not get everyone in.  Please, please, please carpool with at least one other person.  It will mean less cars in camp for us and less time sitting in line for everyone.

Due to showers in the forecast, and the damage we did to the grass already today, we are super sad to say we will not be able to host the family barbecue on Thursday.

Unit I did our opening flag ceremony this morning and then made pancakes, bacon, and eggs on the "can stoves".  Yummy!  Not to mention a nice, warm treat on a cool, wet day.

I happened to catch Unit B as they were learning about the Girl Scout Law and thinking about how they can show that they are honest and fair, friendly and helpful, considerate and caring, etc.

Unit E had a "blast in rockets".  We discovered quite a few interesting things and had fun too.

Flight with Fibonacci was fabulous!  It was also during a downpour so Unit H brought their paper airplanes under our big shelter to test them since rain and paper airplanes don't get along very well.

Our camp has tons of activities to choose from, you can try anything from plate spinning, to hanging with some of your favorite camp friends!

See you all tomorrow!!!
