What a
tremendously excellent day we had in Ancient Egypt! We loved it so
much we didn't come back. :)
We discovered all kinds of interesting things about Egypt such as
the pyramids, pharaohs, mummies, hieroglyphics, and more. We all
practiced our mummy wrapping skills on our PAs and some of us practiced our
mummy cooking skills while making mummy dogs too. We built pyramids and other
Egyptian temples out of cookie cases, saw what we would look like if we were
pharaohs, and were made cat mummies with our LIAs. Some groups made
s'mores, while others had a picnic at the far dock. A good time was had
by ALL!
Thank you for joining us for our barbecue and entertainment
program. It really means a lot to the campers to have an audience to
perform for and they love to be able to share camp with their families too.
