In order to stay for the barbecue
campers must have an adult (family or friend) attend the barbecue.
If your camper isn’t staying
please be sure to tell their unit leader in the morning. We
will only be bring “non-barbecuers” to the parking circle at the end of the
camp day.
3:45-4:00 Arrival to pick up
campers and PAs who are not staying
4:30 Arrival time for families coming
to BBQ
Cost is $5 per person
(we did not charge for the barbecue with camp registration because we didn’t
know if we’d be able to have it).
On arrival please follow our
parking instructions and then proceed to find your camper’s unit.
Families will need to stay with
the unit until it is time to eat.
Our program will include
performances by our campers, songs with our PAs, and a flag ceremony.
Then we will eat dinner of
hotdogs, chips, veggies, fruit, and Girl Scout cookies. We have
vegetarian hot dogs on hand too.
The only beverage we will have on
hand will be water. Campers will still have their water bottles and we
will water bottles for families (although you are welcome to bring a water
bottle or your own beverage as well).
For the songs and performances we
typically stand in the grass. Feel free
to bring a chair if you would like one.
