Hooray, camp time is almost here! We expect your campers are excited too! If it is their first time coming to camp they're probably a bit anxious as well. We love to be able to ease their worries and get the fun started so we are happy to announce we’re hosting a special Sneak Peek event on Saturday, June 22nd from 2:30-3:30 and all of our registered campers and their families are invited!
This is not an open house style event, families who attend must arrive and exit at the designated times.
This is an opportunity to get a peek into camp by…
- seeing the camp,
- meeting your Unit Leaders (adults and teens)
- getting your camp shirt
- meeting other campers in your unit
- experiencing some camp activities
- asking any questions you might have
Important Details:
- This is not a “drop off event” so campers may not be dropped off, they must attend with an adult.
- This is not an open house style event.
- Arrive between 2:20 and 2:30.
- The event will end by 3:30.
- This is not an open house style event.
- If it’s hot you might need to bring water bottles. You may also want an umbrella for shade.
Upon arrival our parking volunteers will direct you into the lanes that will be our drop off and pick up lanes during camp week. (At camp parents do not get out of the car, our leaders get the kids in and out of the cars for you.) For this event we will use this area as a parking loop so all cars will be blocked in and unable to leave until the event is over at 3:30.
After arrival we will sing some camp songs then split up into the appropriate units for some unit time. If you have campers in more than one unit you may want to bring more than one adult so an adult can go with each camper to their unit.
We hope you’ll be able to join us, but we do understand if you can’t make it.
